We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is lovely. Walked with the dog near the river. Bought some delicious cheese at the market in Reeth. Visited Yorkshire Dales, Yorkshire Moors and the Lake District! Hope to come back sometime!

The cottage is in a good location with lovely views at the back of it. The garden has a good table for when it is nice enough weather to sit at it. Plenty of footpaths to take walks on in the vicinity.

A really lovely cottage. The bed was extremely comfortable. The walk from the cottage to Reeth or maybe the pub in Grinton was very scenic and fun crossing the stepping stones over the river. The garden is great to sit in having breakfast or an evening drink watching the sunset.

This was our 3rd visit to the cottage and we have not been disappointed at all. The setting and aspect of the cottage is fantastic. To be able to walk along the river to Reeth with the dog is an added bonus. The 2 pubs in the village are dog friendly and the food is good there too.. we hope to return to the area next year. We have stayed at this property in May this year and again last week. The cleanliness and quality inside the cottage is evident from the moment you walk in. The views are amazing from inside and the back garden . Reeth is less than 30 minute walk along the river where there are some great pubs all serving good food.

We had a fabulous stay. The cottage was very comfy and well equipped compared to other cottages we have stayed in recently. The garden and terrace were both tranquil places to start the day over a leisurely breakfast. A great base for exploring Swaledale with some lovely walks from the front foor.

Lovely cottage. Garden is secure as long as your dog cant jump over a 4ft fence at the bottom of the garden. Its well placed for Reeth and some beautiful walks. Make sure you take smaller bags as the parking is on the small grassy area about 30m away, but you cant hear road noise in the house. Was a really comfy stay and were missing it already.
