The property has a stylish finish yet provides a cosy home from home to enjoy the magnificent scenery that surrounds the cottage and lovely dark skies.

Mid terraced house situated in the small village of Kirby Misperton surrounded by the North York Moors and Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where there are 600 square miles of stunning, heather-coated countryside waiting to be discovered by foot or by car. Within the National Park, there are plenty of market towns, such as Pickering, home to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Pickering Castle, tearooms, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Right on your doorstep is Flamingo Land, theme park and zoo, along with other local attractions like Eden Camp, Castle Howard or you could also head to Scarborough or Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast all. The Hole of Horcum and Goathland (land of Heartbeat) are a short drive away for the walking enthusiasts. Hutton le Hole, approximately 12 miles away, boasts gift shops, pubs, the Ryedale Museum and is ideal for walkers. For foodies, the last bank holiday weekend in May Malton hosts The Food Festival. Expect artisan stalls, delicious street food, celebrity chefs and much more!

Step inside the light and spacious open-plan living space which is divided between a kitchen, a dining table for six people and a lounge area with comfortable seating which will bring a cosy feeling to those snug nights in, in front of the Smart TV with Netflix. Within the kitchen area, you’ll have everything you need for your stay including an electric oven and gas hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge,freezer and microwave. Completing the ground floor is a separate WC located under the stairs. When its time for bed, head upstairs to the bedrooms which are made up of a king-size bed, a twin room with Smart TV, and a bunk bedroom, equally comfortable for young people or adults. The bathroom is across the hallway with bath and shower above and WC.

To the outside, head onto the enclosed decked terrace and soothe away any sore muscles in the hot tub. The perfect indulgence for your Yorkshire getaway. Open up a bottle of something and savour the balmy evening, or the table and chairs offer an alternative spot for al fresco dining. A lockable shed offers secure storage for bicycles for those exploring the area by bike.  There is private parking for 2 cars to the rear of the property.

  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £30. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Great house that really made our holiday as we were travelling with a young baby it gave us somewhere to spend the evenings.

Lovely house and great for dogs as all the floors are wooden the garden is the same as no escaping. We did not use the hot tub but it was there if we wished. Enough room for us all

We had the most wonderful time staying at this cottage There was everything you need My autistic son loves the hot tub, and it was a nice touch. They left a basket with Easter eggs for the children and wine for me and my partner would 100% recommend this accommodation to anyone will definitely be using again best stay ever
