An ideal location offering something for everyone. Close by, you can enjoy a game of golf at Birdlington Links Golf Course, or wander the gardens, woodland and zoo of Sewerby Hall and Gardens. Head to the coastal town of Birdlington for a day at the beach, with shops, restaurants, spa and harbour, known as The Lobster Capital of Europe. With plenty to explore on foot or two wheels, you are set on the edge of the Flamborough Headland Heritage Coast, and further afield is the North York Moors National Park with a vast amount of countryside. Venture further afield to the city of York, explore the cathedral and minster, enjoy some retail therapy, get a bite to eat or visit one of the museums and historic landmarks. 

Enter the purpose build bungalow set within the owners grounds into the hallway, a great space to hang coats and kick off your shoes. To the right is a spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with views into the large mature garden. The lounge, with comfy sofas, is the perfect space to relax in front of the Smart TV after a busy day of exploring. Prepare a meal in the kitchen, well-equipped with all the essentials including electric hob/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. You can then enjoy the resulting meal and discuss the day’s adventures. There is also a utility room with washing machine. Head through to the garden room, read a book, or have a lazy breakfast around the table with great views over the well kept garden. Following on through the property you will find the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Completing the property is the two bedrooms, down the hallway on your right is the twin bedroom, and there is the double bedroom with Smart TV and en-suite shower room and WC.

Head outside to your own roped off section of the garden area and enjoy a morning coffee or simply enjoy the fresh air, this a sectioned off area of the owners garden. There is off-road parking for two cars on the gravel driveway next to the property.

Lovely property, well equipped kitchen and very clean. The owners were very friendly and recommended places to visit in this lovely area that we have not been to before. We had an excellent holiday here and hope to return again.

Lovely stay again. Excellent location and friendly attentive owners. Being tall the double bed is a little small and the showers are maybe due a refresh but that is all minor. Would recommend.

The accommodation was delightful, set in well kept gardens, and it was delightful seeing all the bird-life coming to the feeder every day. The interior was well furnished and well equipped too, compared with the grotty ground floor flat we stayed in last year. That was sparsely furnished, the dishwasher was really noisy, and there was no washing maRead morechine in the place. We had a lovely stay at the Coastal roost. Excellent location in Sewerby, within walking distance to coast. Option to walk to Bridlington and a little further to Flamborough the other way. Superb cottage in Sewerby. Ideal location for touring the area. Lots of HHA properties to visit as well as fantastic scenery and sea views. The welcome package had everything you needed for the first few days plus.

A compact and practical rental in useful location for coastal exploration. Note there is poor Wi-Fi reception. Useful Coop and chi shop nearby.
