Great location, really clean and comfortable, and the owners had really thought about what needed to be available to guests. There were just 2 of us (and our dog) and I will be honest and say that I think the cottage could be a little small for four, but otherwise we couldn't really fault it. So grateful to the owner for squeezing us in at the last minute. We loved the cottage. It is very cosy and the surroundings are idyllic. All kitchen equipment needed for cooking was provided, which was perfect. We loved the little welcome pack and the little touches, like the flowers and the fact that toilet roll, kitchen roll and milk were provideRead mored. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Just a note for other dog owners, the garden is not escape proof, so don't leave your dog in it Hide

Ivy Cottage, in the rural setting of a country lane, had good access to main roads making it a great base for visiting the Yorkshire Dales. It was peaceful and cosy. We had such a lovely stay here - the cottage is so well designed, the kitchen was small but well stocked with a place for everything! We loved the garden and so did our dog. The area was great for walks, pubs and gardens, but still felt really peaceful and rural. The host was communicative and really helpful.

A lovely little cottage in a great location. Rural but not isolated. Great walks on the doorstep. Lots of birds and wildlife including deer. Nicely furnished. Good wifi connection. Lovely, peaceful garden. (The garden is opposite the house so just be aware of crossing the lane as cyclists do tend to whoosh around the corner!)
