We had the most enjoyable week in this beautiful, comfortable cottage. The owner couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. It was a good base to explore the surrounding countryside and villages - and we really made the most of our pass to the amazing Yorkshire Sculpture Park. The cottage was spotless and spacious, and it was great to have the fencRead moreed in garden so we could sit out in the sunshine with our dogs. We are looking forward to coming back again and again! Had an amazing week, the cottage was perfect for what we needed. A short walk from YSP, where we went everyday to walk our dog. We had a lovely welcome from the owner on arrival, who gave us a tour of the cottage and explained everything we needed to know. This is one of the best cottages we have stayed in and we wouldnt hesitate to book again.

IF you do your own cooking on the hob your will need to take your own pots and pans. There is frying pans and a microwave though if that's your thing.

Ian was very welcoming and helpful. The ppty is 'tired' but clean, it is Ian's home, he stays in a caravan in the garden. There are no walks on your doorstep, unless you want to pay 9 to go into the sculptre prk. You have to drive if you want to walk.
