As you enter this coastal home, you’ll find yourself in the bright and stylish open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which is filled with comfortable leather seats, wooden and glass furnishings, and calming tones throughout. The formal dining area is filled with natural light through the skylights and boasts a large glass dining table with comfortable seats for ten. In one corner of the room is a well-sized contemporary kitchen with glossy cabinets and a large wooden kitchen island with a breakfast bar. The lounge is also spacious with three large sofas and coastal-themed decor. Also on the ground floor is a WC, and the first of the four bedrooms. Upstairs is a family bathroom and three further bedrooms – two with en-suites. Outside is a small patio with an alleyway that leads to the beach.
Meander the cobbled streets of Robin Hood’s Bay village and pop into the local art gallery, seafood eateries, cafe and museum (0.5 miles). Relax on the sand and shingle Robin Hood’s Bay Beach (less than 500 metres) and head north to reach the coastal trail along the clifftops (0.5 miles). Spend a day exploring the Gothic town of Whitby (6 miles) and admire the dramatic ruins of Whitby Abbey. Venture deeper into the North York Moors National Park and follow the walking trails around the Mallyan Spout Waterfall, Wheeldale Roman Road and Simon Howe Stone Circle (all within 20 miles).
