Immerse yourselves in the splendour of both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District when you stay at this cottage near Tebay. Sleeping four guests, the sumptuous, two-bedroom cottage is situated 14.5 miles from Kendal and 23 miles from Hawes, right on the fringes of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Complete with a hot tub and spectacular views out over the Lune Valley, it has enticing interiors.

Enter to find beautiful, barn-style accommodation, with a reverse-level design and underfloor heating. At the ground-floor level, there is a double bedroom and a twin room, which has beds that can also be arranged as a super-king-size if discussed at booking. Each gorgeous, boutique hotel-style bedroom has an en-suite shower room. Climb the stairs to emerge in the generous, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which has large windows that pull the views right inside and a high vaulted and beamed ceiling. Sink back into the luxurious comfortable seating to watch TV in the evenings, take turns rustling up magnificent Yorkshire dishes with the local produce you have bought and dine together in style at the table during the autumn and winter months. On sunny spring and summer days, choose to serve meals outside on the patio in the fresh country air instead. Fire up the hot tub and soak in its warm bubbles here as you look right out across your picturesque surroundings.

Stride straight out on footpaths across the Yorkshire Dales from the stone retreat. Plan day trips into the Lake District. Head to Pooley Bridge, 21.5 miles away, to spend time at the scenic lake of Ullswater. Follow a section of the 20-mile Ullswater Way along the shores or take a steamboat cruise out on the water, disembarking at various beauty spots and points of interest along the way.

Cottage was really clean and welcoming. Given it was over new year the weather wasn't the best but the rooms were very warm and cosy. We had a great stay and would highly recommend.

We had a brilliant holiday ! Great location to get to both the lakes and the dales. The owners of the cottage provided many small touches to make the holiday a great experience such as the dog towels, bowl, and blankets.

The cottage was lovely and we stayed here with our 3 beagles. It was well equipped and had everything you needed. The view from the top window was lovely and it was nice to sit there and have breakfast in the mornings. There is so much to do in this area and we enjoyed walks with the dogs and coming back to the cottage to enjoy the hot tub. A lovely cottage. With lots of space. Big kitchen. Good size hottub. Very complete. During our stay we had some problems with the watersupply. Andy made sure it was not a huge issue. Supplied lots of water and a quick repair.

Excellent location for access to places of interest. Clean cottage and very comfy beds. Would not rate 5 star nor luxury as the accommodation could do with some TLC and attention to the outside area.

This is a gorgeous property in a lovely location with all the equipment you would need for a lovely stay - a real home away from home. Underfloor heating on the ground floor bedrooms is lovely. Its so nice to see the animals around the property & a lovely view. Will definitely be back to explore the area more.

Comfortable, well equipped cottage. Some issues with level of cleaning. My husband who has asthma struggled with his chest because lots of dust in bedroom and no mattress protector on bed.
