Ripon is just 3 miles from the spectacular ruins at Fountains Abbey and the trails around the Studley Water Gardens. Nearby Harrogate is home to several visitor attractions including the historic Spa and the grand gardens and open spaces of The Stray and RHS Harlow Carr. Enjoy a day at the races, a trip to Newby Hall, Ripon Cathedral, Ripley Castle, or one of the three local museums and much more.

Arrive via impressive iron gates and approach the cottage with its charming cottage-style garden and views of the cathedral. Enter the property to find a handy boot room with laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer) and lots of room to store your luggage and coats. Just off the boot room is a wet room with a shower and WC. The beautiful country-style kitchen/diner comes complete with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The dining area has a feature fireplace and a table with seating for four guests. The lounge is very comfortable with the wood burner being the central feature, as well as a Smart TV/DVD to while away the evenings. There are also board games if you like to be gently competitive as well as a selection of books to choose from. Retire to the first floor via a steep cottage-style staircase and landing where you will find the two bedrooms; the large bedroom has a Super King bed. This is a Zip and Link bed so It can be separated to create a twin upon request. The second bedroom is a double with a walk-in wardrobe. Both bedrooms enjoy lovely views of Ripon Cathedral. The stylish bathroom has a waterfall shower, a bath and WC.

The lovely, gravel country garden is well maintained with a summerhouse to make the most of sunnier days. You can also store two bicycles securely inside. The garden also offers outdoor furniture and access to 2 private parking spaces.
