We loved Marthas Cottage. It was so quiet and peaceful. Surrounded by bird song and countryside. It was ideal for us to see family and hopefully in the future take in some of the amazing walks. The eco initiatives were also really clever. Loved how the log burner heated the whole house- it was really fantastic! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Property had lots of character to it. There were many nice, thoughtful and practical additions eg electronic kitchen scales and hot water bottles. Welcome gift was also appreciated. Adorable cottage. Immaculately clean. Had everything we could wish for. Only a few minutes away from town. Lots to do in the area. Brimham rocks, plumpton rocks, fountains Abbey, Harlow carr Gardens and the valley gardens... the list goes on. The informative given was accurate and we had no need to query anything. Hope to stay there again.

Clean and well equipped. The location was disappointing as there was no pub, restaurant or shop within easy walking distance. The en suite bathroom was great for those in that bedroom but the downstairs toilet and bathroom was inconvenient for the other rooms. The wood burner gave a cosy atmosphere.

Loved our stay at Martha's Cottage. Very convenient to Harrogate although very rural. Comfortable accommodation. Sheep in the field behind the cottage were a bonus. Would not hesitate to return.

A lovely homely cottage in a very rural spot overlooking fields. There was a lovely walk on our doorstep. The cottage was very well equipped with plenty of books and DVDs which would be ideal in bad weather. Would love to return in the future.

This cottage is set in an idyllic location- far from the madding crowd but only 5 mins drive from supermarkets and Harrogate. The sheep in the field can be seen whilst washing up which is dreamy. We stayed here with my toddler granddaughter and she loved the garden as it is massive. We sat under the apple trees, blew bubbles, and played hide and seRead moreek. The cottage is comfy and cosy and has toys and books and we would definitely stay here again. Ten out of ten. Thankyou to the hosts. Hide

Rather small w. basic furniture but cosy with everything you need. The well equipped kitchen with the "180 degrees windows" of the extension is the place to be whereas the living room could need some refurbishment.
