Get comfortable in the quirky lounge which contains a funky hanging chair and a roaring wood burner to keep you warm on chilly evenings. The owners have also provided a Nintendo Wii so you can all get competitive playing games. Rustle up hearty meals in the well-equipped kitchen, separated from the dining area by a breakfast bar. Completing the ground floor is a welcoming double bedroom, and a shower room with a WC. Upstairs on the first floor are the remaining two bedrooms, a king and a twin, and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Dine alfresco on the private patio at the rear of the house, or frolic around on the lawn which is shared with the neighbouring holiday property.
Located in a peaceful spot, you will find pleasant walking routes within easy reach. Nidd Gorge and the viaduct (2 miles) is a lovely walking route that is great for birdwatching. The village of Killinghall (1 mile) has some lovely pubs and handy shops, while the bustling spa town of Harrogate is just 2 miles away. Spend a day at the historic Ripley Castle (2.5 miles) exploring the beautiful house and expansive grounds.
