A cosy, characterful, and welcoming cottage set in a quiet suburb of the spa town Harrogate. Overlooking a park, this pretty, terraced home welcomes a group of four and two dogs, ideal for two couples or small family taking a short Yorkshire break with their canine companions. It’s an enchanting place to stay with thoughtful décor and heritage furnishings throughout creating a welcoming space.

Two steps lead up to the front door of this delightful home. On entering, you will find yourself in a pretty hallway with space to hang your coast. Head through to the cosy lounge filled with light from the large bay window. Get comfortable on the sofas and unwind watching your favourite shows on the TV. Further down the hallway is a quaint dining room with high ceilings, a decorative fireplace, and a four-seater dining table. Head through here into the galley-style kitchen which is well-equipped with everything you need for cooking and cleaning. Enjoy a perfect night’s sleep in the two bedrooms located upstairs. Choose from a super-king-size bedroom, or a king bedroom, both containing high-quality linen and mattresses. A family bathroom with a bath and a separate walk-in shower completes the interior of the property. To the rear of the cottage via the kitchen’s back door, you will find a yard area with garden furniture and a handy outdoor utility room. There is also a small patio area at the front of the property where you can take a seat and watch the world go by.

The bustling town of Harrogate is just 1 mile away, where you will find plenty of independent shops and places to eat and enjoy. Spend a day relaxing at the rejuvenating Turkish Baths or still around The Valley Gardens, a park and heritage gardens that cover 17 acres (both attractions 1.5 miles from the cottage). A gorgeous house, we ending up staying at home in the evening much more than we expected as it was so comfortable. Great shops and cafes nearby and easy to get the bus into Harrogate. Would highly recommend Tarbetts fishmonger who can make up a fish platter to order.

The house was perfectly positioned, local park next to property, plenty of shops and train station within walking distance. Harrogate a 25 min walk away with lots of local shops and restaurants, most were dog friendly. The house was very comfortable and warm. The king size bed was the the most comfortable bed weve slept in.

Our host, Julie, could not have been more helpful or accommodating. 55 Mount St is very conveniently located, just 25 minutes walk or a 5 minute drive into the centre of Harrogate. The house was very clean, well equipped and very comfortable. We had everything we needed for a very relaxing and enjoyable week's break. Thank you.

Delightful house, feels like a home. Close to amenities, a 20 minute walk into town. Loads of towels, great water pressure! Harrogate itself is a pleasant town, lots of restaurants and shops. Main bedroom has a massive bed which is helpful if you sleep with a bed hogger! Four of us (two couples) managed very comfortably

Lovely cottage, well located especially if you are using the train as the nearest station is just 5 minutes walk. Shops very close (M&S, Sainsburies and Co-op). The coffee shop (think it is called Folk) is very good. A really lovely holiday home. Cosy, well equipped and squeaky clean. A great position near a park, shops, buses and a very friendly ( including for dogs! ) social club. A short walk to the Stray and 15 minutes to the town centre. Owner very helpful but not in an intrusive way.
