The cottage has bags of character with period features combined with a contemporary finish. A lovely, relaxing stay in a beautifully quaint cottage. Ample space inside and the gardens too, great for our children and dogs. Really appreciated the tasty biscuits and milk on our arrival. All amenities thought of at Ivy Cottage. Thank you for a fab week!

A comfortable well equipped house, fantastic views over the green I enjoyed watching a snowy owl swooping for prey not to mention the swifts in the evening. The chiming church clock was such a part of rural living. Other villagers we met during our stay were so friendly and helpful, such a shame that the local pub is no more So much country walkingRead more around the village area. Hide

A beautiful old cottage set in wonderful gardens. We stayed with our 7 year old, my husband's parents and our dog, and it could not have been more perfect. Spacious comfortable and quiet. Really well equipped kitchen. We walked to Riccall, Kelfield and Cawood, and found pubs in Riccall and Cawood. We drove to Naburn which also has a nice pub. NaburRead moren is a similar distance to the other villages, but unfortunately no way to walk. Lack of local footpaths is a problem for keen walkers. Hide
