For the last few years knitted graffiti have been popping up along Saltburn pier. With scenes including tea pots, goths and farmers, the mysterious knitted creations have been delighting residents and visitors to the area with their fun, colourful designs since they first appeared 5 years ago- and with the scenes changing once a year to celebrate events in Yorkshire we popped along to take a look at their latest wooly work.

A few of the creations on Saltburn Pier

The creators of these knitted masterpieces remains a mystery, the knitters put their creations out at night to keep their identities a secret, leaving residents with a knitted surprise in the morning.

The wooly dogs are our favourite!

Some past tributes have been to the Olympics, Alice in Wonderland, the World Cup and the Royal Family- we can’t wait to see what they come up with next year!
