Our Pledge to Volunteer

In 2020, Ingrid Flute's Yorkshire Holiday Cottages celebrates its 50th year! As part of our celebrations we are looking at ways we can give back to the local community with every member of staff being given days free to volunteer for a local charity of their choice.

With so many worthy local causes across Yorkshire to choose from, our aim is to achieve 50 days of volunteering throughout 2020 to truly give back to the local communities we live and work in.

We'll be charting our volunteering efforts on this page so you can see what we've been up to, and we've lined up to support a diverse range of local charities that reflect our passion for Yorkshire and the causes close to our team's hearts with the aim of increasing awareness for the invaluable work they do. We'll also be supporting our 2020 Nominated Charity of the Year, the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, in their effort to conserve Yorkshire's wildlife and wildspaces throughout the Coast, Moors and Dales through conservation days at reservations across Yorkshire (if you'd like to join in you can view their 2020 Conservation Calendar here!).

We hope you'll support us in our mission by reading our updates on this page or by following our efforts using #50DaysofVolunteering on social media where we'll be sharing our volunteering stories. Be sure to use the hashtag if you feel inspired to volunteer yourself- we'd love to see what you get up to!
