Hutton le Hole Cottages

Hutton-le-Hole is an idyllic village in the North York Moors National Park and sums up the charm and beauty of the area. Moorland sheep freely graze on the village green through which a stream flows, and the wide grassy banks are excellent sites to enjoy a picnic. The village is the location of the Ryedale Folk Museum where 20 historic buildings have been rebuilt on a single site and show local life from pre-historic times to the 1950s. The museum is also home of the renowned "Harrison Collection", a nationally important collection of folk artifacts from around the world. Within the village are tearooms, a pub serving food and craft shops, making Hutton-le-Hole a great place for a holiday or day out.

Nearby the towns of Kirkbymoorside and Pickering, with markets on Wednesdays and Mondays respectively, have supermarkets, shops and the other amenities you may need for your holiday. Visitor attractions include Pickering Castle, the Beck Isle Museum of Rural Life and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway which takes you on an 18 mile journey through the beautiful North York Moors. The coastal resorts of Whitby and Scarborough and the historic city of York can be reached in an hour or less, making Hutton-le-Hole a great location for a touring holiday.

Browse our range of Hutton-le-Hole cottages and start planning a wonderful Yorkshire holiday to this pretty North York Moors village.
