Plus, the sumptuous, contemporary decor adds a touch of pure sophistication to proceedings. Sharing the same peaceful ambience as upstairs, the two bedrooms downstairs, one king-size and one twin, both feature wonderful views to wake up to and crisp, white linens that guarantee a peaceful rest. The contemporary family shower room on this floor offers everything you need to feel refreshed. Accessed via the king-size bedroom, the charming garden with a patio and small lawn is ideal for a spot of al fresco dining as you watch the steam trains pass by. Enjoy a traditional bucket and spade day at the seaside at beach hut-lined West Cliff Beach a mile away, or along the gloriously golden stretches of Robin Hood’s Bay, Runswick Bay or Port Mulgrave, all within 10 miles.
