Tucked in a patch of ancient woodland on the south-eastern shores of Lake Windermere, this woodland glamping pod is the ideal blend of comfort and nature. Located on an upmarket holiday park around 5 miles from Bowness on Windermere, this cosy wooden pod comfortably sleeps a couple or small family seeking a tranquil base in the Lake District. From lake cruises to picturesque trails and water-based activities, you can be as relaxed or active as you wish.

Set on raised decking in a peaceful, wooded area, this glamping pod blends rustic charm with modern comforts. Constructed from wood in a studio-style layout, it''s designed to comfortably accommodate two adults and two children, with heating providing warmth on chilly days. A fully equipped kitchenette offers all the basics for whipping up family favourites, and you can dine inside or out with a foldout table inside and a bistro table and chairs on the private terrace. A double bed nestled in one corner sleeps two adults, while the sofa bed is ideal for two kids and a shower room with a WC ensures comfort and convenience. Guests benefit from a private parking spot.

Bring your paddleboard, canoe or kayak and set off for adventures on the lake or lace up your walking boots and explore lakeside paths and woodland trails. A network of ferries combines scenic lake cruises with visits to different Lakeland towns, such as Bowness (5 miles), Windermere (6.5 miles) or Ambleside (10.5 miles). From here you can pick up popular walking routes, such as Loughrigg Fell (14.5 miles) and Stock Ghyll Force (11 miles) or visit the Roman fort.
