Inside, the welcoming and characterful lounge/diner has wooden beams, comfortable seating and a Smart TV so you can snuggle up in the evening to watch a favourite film. There’s a relaxing dining area by the window, perfect for sharing a romantic meal which you can rustle up in the light, beautifully equipped kitchen. Stairs lead up to a galleried dressing room with stylish built-in wardrobes, and then a step down takes you into the bright and cosy king-size bedroom which has a low sloping ceiling. Outside, the cheerful enclosed sun terrace is a charming spot for dining alfresco, with a few steps leading down to a lovely ornamental garden offering fabulous views across Whitby.

This is a very pretty cottage in the centre of the town but also very quiet. There are a lot of steps to it so would not suit someone with mobility issues, and you have to take your luggage quite a way from the carpark. However well worth it once you get there. Whitby is the prettiest place you could imagine, and we are definitely going again.

The cottage is lovely inside, decorated tastefully and modern but still remains charming. The location is great, tucked away off the main shopping street with plenty of restaurants and cosy pubs to visit. Beach is beautiful and the cottage is by the 199 steps. We loved our stay at here and would definitely stay again.

Lovely, quirky little cottage. My partner is 6 ft 3 so beware your head as he did bang it a few times on ceiling and light fittings. The cottage is right in the centre of Whitby and was great for access to all needed. Bed was really comfortable apart from the flooring being unlevel. Shower was great and powerful. The kitchen had everything you needRead moreed and it was a nice touch to be left a gift of tea, prosecco, cake and biscuits. Hide

The cottage was very clean, comfortable and is in a perfect location up a small alley off church street and close to the 199 steps. It has a lovely courtyard with seating outside. It is a small cottage but more than adequate for a couple. It has everything you need. The bed is very comfy. We would recommend a stay.
