Brilliant holiday. The location of the apartment was excellent. So many walks on your doorstep which meant not moving the car. Parking could have been an issue. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The pub across the road served good food and was welcoming

Hondas apartment was very clean and views from every window. It had everything you need to self cater and i can recommend the coffee and Canoes from her face below. We enjoyed our ride on the Swale Trail which we did on our mountain bikes and which you can start from the apartment.

The owner (Linda) runs the tearoom downstairs (times vary) and is very hospitable. She has a keen interest that her guests staying upstairs, feel welcomed and we for sure felt this to be the case. Everything is in place for you to enjoy a very clean and relaxing stay. Its very light and spacious for 2 people and the outside seating area is fine. We would definitely stay there again. Our only problem was with the microwave stopping mid cooking but other than that. No problems.

Well located in the centre of Gunnerside. Cosy, comfy, nice views. Well equipped - everything looks brand new - and works. Clever use of space - glassware cupboard recessed where your legs go under the breakfast bar. Car parking a few yards away on the village green.

A lovely well equipped and comfortable apartment with stunning views. It also has a roof terrace which ( weather permitting ) is ideal for an early morning cuppa or a late night glass of wine watching the sheep and other wildlife. There is a pub along the road and a cafe on the door step. We can highly recommend Ghyllfoot apartment.
