A wooden staircase from the ground floor leads to a games room complete with a pool table, table-top football, a TV and a music system. A small double sofa bed turns this into a bedroom for two, with a shower room for added convenience. A second, stone staircase to the first floor gives access to a stunning king-sized room with a gorgeous sleigh-style bed and sofa plus an en-suite with a spa bath and separate shower. Also, there is a twin bedroom and a separate bathroom. Beautiful countryside surrounds the property, with sheep grazing the neighbouring fields and the grounds giving access to the river and stream close by. There is an enclosed rear terrace while the rest of the garden blends harmoniously with the landscape.
On the western slopes of the Pennines, Garsdale is 7 miles east of Sedbergh and 9 miles west of Hawes – both are historic market towns with shops and eateries to suit all tastes. Further north lays Kirkby Stephen at the head of the Eden Valley, a popular centre for walkers and situated on the Cumbrian Way, which is a great route for all keen cyclists. To the south, you will find Kirkby Lonsdale, and its surrounding area of outstanding landscape still retains the same beauty appreciated by Constable, Turner and Ruskin.
