Getaway to the Yorkshire coast - great seaside location ideal for families and friends in a delightful, cosy, home from home and just minutes from the beach.

Set just 0.5 miles from the beach and 100 metres from Glen Gardens - a beautiful open space with a play area and cafe, great for children or having picnics if you want to get away from the sand – this property is a great choice for families. The beach is lined with a historical promenade with a Seafront Sculpture Trail and beach chalets. Close-by and to the north, Filey Brigg (1.5 miles) has some amazing rock pools to explore and also marks the end/start of the Cleveland Way Walk. For a change of scene, the North York Moors National Park (24 miles) is a fantastic place to enjoy scenic country walks, explore a number of pretty towns and villages, or perhaps test your mettle at the Go Ape high ropes centre in Dalby Forest (23.5 miles).

Enter the property from your parking area at the rear of the house, make your way up the garden and step into this lovely home-from-home. You'll be welcomed into a large open-plan, lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is generously sized with lots of storage and is well equipped with all you need, so cooking up a family feast will be a breeze. Take your meal over to the large dining table and recall the fun day you've had at the beach. After dinner, what better way to relax than on the comfortable leather sofa or armchair whilst catching up on your favourite TV program on the Smart TV. Completing the downstairs is the family bathroom with a shower over the bath, and WC. Climb the steep stairs to the three bedrooms: 2 luxury king-size rooms for the adults plus a bunk room for the little ones. There is also a separate WC on this floor.

Outside, to the rear of the property is a large patio with an outdoor dining set, ideal for al fresco meals and a bench to the front of the property to soak up the suns rays

Lovely position in the town. The house had everything we needed, was clean and it looked newly redecorated. The parking space at the back is small and awkward to get in and out, so we parked out front, there was always room.

Lovely comfy house with pretty much everything you need including an enclosed back yard. It's in an ideal location. 5 min walk to shops and food one way (and they really know how to do batter in the chippies in Filey), 5 min walk to an epic dog beach another way, 5 min walk to plenty of ice cream and a gentle stroll along the promenade another way,Read more across the road from a park with pedalos amongst other things (yet never heard a peep from the house). Lovely house, brilliant location which is super convenient for the beach and bay (which is outside). Really comfortable house and beds, nice and clean, great kitchen. Quite compact upstairs but plenty of space downstairs. Parking space only really suitable for smaller to medium sized vehicles, but there's loads of on-street parking around (just be Read moreaware of restrictions on overnight parking for motorhomes/campers if that's your main vehicle as ours was!). The house was beautifully decorated and the standard of equipment was excellent- everything had been thought about with care.
