A comfortable cottage with a warm welcome from the owner. The cottage was very well equipped and extremely clean when we arrived. The cottage is well located to explore east Yorkshire and is only a short drive into York. We had a very relaxing week.

Lovely comfortable house with excellent disabled facilities, appreciated by the one in our party who suffers from Parkinson's. Very rural, but only a short drive to Stamford Bridge which has many services. Access to York, Malton and other places nearby was good. York park and ride only a few miles away. Would book again

We spent a glorious three weeks in Courtyard Cottage. Sheila and Tom were welcoming and extremely helpful to our party, and left us a generous welcome pack. The cottage is extremely well equipped, with all new kitchen appliances, including a generous fridge. Quite seriously, a real home from home.

The cottage is situated in a quiet country position a couple of mile from Stamford Bridge. It is very well equipped. The host is very friendly and helpful and gave us a very good welcome briefing. The cottage is suitable for those with mobility issues being on one level and with a wet room en suite

Lovely, spacious accommodation. Very well equipped, warm and comfortable. Didn't get a chance to use the outside space as we picked a rainy week to stay! Visited York, hired bikes at Sutton Bank (hour drive), walked at Hole of Horcum (45 mins drive), and walked locally from the cottage as there are several possible routes. Had a couple of nice mealRead mores at 'Three Cups' in Stamford Bridge. Enjoyed our week and would definitely recommend staying at the cottage. Hide
