Located on the outskirts of Stokesley sits this peaceful two-bedroom cottage. Featuring a games room, private garden and within easy reach of the North York Moors National Park, this is a great base for a couple or small family plus one dog seeking on-site activities, long walks in nature and easy access to friendly pubs and restaurants.
Distributed over one floor, all the rooms are well furnished with brilliant white walls and large windows adding to the sense of tranquillity. Large patio doors, velux windows, and soft furnishings make the lounge a relaxing spot, and after a day of exploring you can unwind and soak up the beautiful countryside views from the comfort of the sofa. Alternatively, push open the patio doors and let Fido roam in the garden while you catch up on some holiday reading. A neat kitchen overlooks the lounge and come dinnertime there’s a sociable dining table with seating for four people. The two double bedrooms are located off from the living area. Served by a well-appointed shower room, both bedrooms are light and breezy with plenty of storage space. Outside, there’s plenty of space to unwind. Children can play table tennis in the games room or play fetch with Fido on the extensive lawn. A garden arch also leads to a pretty seating area; surrounded by hedges and colourful plants it’s the perfect spot for an alfresco meal or peaceful evening drink.
Stokesley is a charming market town on the River Leven and offers plenty of independent shops and dog-friendly pubs and eateries. Stroll along the river or explore the surrounding countryside on foot or bike. The more energetic can head to Roseberry Topping (4 miles) and follow the path to the summit where you’ll be rewarded with sweeping views out to the North Sea.
