Our second visit to Field Barn Cottage and we hope to return again. The Cottage is very well equipped and set in lovely countryside. The garden was perfectly secure for our two Border Terriers. We also loved the hot-tub. Very well situated for visiting the lovely town of Richmond and also Ripon. Fountains Abbey (National Trust) is a gem. Lovely rural location and small but perfectly formed cottage! The properly enclosed garden was a really important thing for me so I didnt have to worry about the dog getting out into the fields and the wood-fired hot tub with countryside views was really great!

Wonderful cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location. Our 3rd visit and will definitely be returning. Perfect for dog owners as large, totally secure and safe garden with plenty of places to walk. Hot tub is fabulous and facilities great Had a perfect time, thank you.

Had a lovely time, just me and my dog stayed for a week. Really quiet location which is just what I needed, the secure field was great for my GSD and the cottage was really comfortable and cosy! The welcome pack was lovely as well. The owner was also really helpful and friendly! Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely beautiful and such a cosy holiday home. The cottage had everything you could need. The area was very quiet and we went on some lovely walks. The owners kindly let us know we could contact them if we needed anything but otherwise they completely left us to enjoy our stay. Nice cottage and very well enclosed if you have dogs. Very good standard in particular the bathroom and bedroom. Added bonus was the wood burning hot tub, but takes a bit of getting used to and planning. Plenty of pubs not too far away, so although this is a quiet place for a get away, there are some nice places to explore.

On arrival, the high chair and travel cot were not there. I contacted Sophie and she came down to sort this within 15mins - amazing service , thank you. Lovely cottage, lovely garden! My wife and I stayed for a week and had a fabulous time. The cottage was very clean and tidy. A great space for the dogs with access to a field so they can have a good run around all enclosed so no worries of them escaping. The hosts Sopphie and Kieth were amazing always happy to help should it be needed. All in all, a fabulous holiday.

What a beautiful cottage, in such a peaceful, rural location! A perfect base to explore both North Yorkshire, & it's neighbouring counties, with Darlington being only just up the road for groceries/essentials. The cottage was spotlessly clean, really comfy bed, & has all the facilities you need, plus the Welcome Pack was a lovely bonus. Had the best time so chilled & relaxing. Its fabulous for the dogs you can totally chill in the hot tub without worrying about the dogs escaping its totally enclosed which is a big thing for us with 2 nosey beagles. The cottage is so cozy & comfortable. The bed was comfy & tv in there was a bonus! Fab shower & tv with Netflix in the lounge. Having Read morea washing machine was great especially after a wet walk. Cottage was lovely and cosy with beautiful scenery surrounding. It was lovely to watch the horses and hares frolicking around in the fields opposite while enjoying the hot tub. The best dog friendly accommodation we have stayed at, as our dog was able to run about outside to his hearts content without a worry.

Very cozy cottage in rural surroundings. Nice completely fenced garden with a hot tub. Best part for our dogs was the large field to run in. We have very appreciated the welcome package. There are nice pubs only a few minutes drive away.

We loved our stay at field barn cottage. The owners were great and the little touches and welcome pack were lovely and well thought out. This has been our 4th visit. The cottage is ideal for our dogs- a border collie and very nervous mixed breed rescue. They can be let straight into the secure garden and then we walk around the secure field with no need for leads. They love it and we can relax. We love the new hot tub!

Lovely cottage in lovely setting. Thoughtful little touches from the owners. Great location for visiting parks , beaches, market towns and so on. We have never felt so chilled out on a holiday, the peace, the hot tub, the garden for the dog, and the adjacent field, bliss. Will go back.

Beautiful cottage in a really lovely setting. The hosts have thought of everything and lots of lovely little touches. Most importantly really secure garden with access to a bigger contained field which meant our 2 very energetic Rottweilers had lots of lovely space. Wow first impressions of this cottage - absolutely gorgeous! I was slightly nervous at first as it was only myself (26F) and my dog travelling and we arrived at night time when it was dark and the location seemed quite remote, however I soon felt very safe after turning all the outside lighting on and seeing how secure it was.
