Enjoy a fun break at this cute bolthole for two in a fantastic location close to Whitby Harbour with a balcony and an enclosed garden, stylish interiors, a wood burner, and plenty of space. It’s close to the sandy beach, shops, pubs, and cafes, as well as excellent walks along the coast and in the North York Moors.

The apartment is bright and welcoming and thoughtful touches ensure a comfortable stay. You’ll feel at home the moment you step into the lovely, light, well-equipped kitchen/diner where you’ll find a coffee machine for your morning cuppa and everything you need to cook tasty meals. It connects to the dining area where there’s plenty of space for romantic meals at the dining table and chairs. The pretty lounge is bold and bright with comfy seating, a cosy wood burner and a Smart TV and music system. There’s a luxurious king-size bedroom with good storage and a TV for watching in bed, and a bathroom with a roll-top bath. Watch the world go by from the balcony, with views of the harbour and abbey, or sit in the private terraced garden at the rear where there’s lots of space, pretty planting and a table and chairs on the patio.

Explore everything the town has to offer, Whitby’s gothic streets are home to a great range of pubs, cafes, shops, and restaurants to visit, and the harbour and small sandy beach are nearby too. Wander along the pier and walk up to Whitby Abbey for amazing views of the coast, and set out for a longer walk along the Cleveland Way. Head into the North York Moors for hikes through the rugged countryside and go to Robin Hood’s Bay (5.5 miles) for a wander and fossil hunting on the beach.

The apartment was fantastic and spotlessly clean. Everything had been thought of and we would like to thank the owner who also sourced parking permits as well. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would love to return again in the future. ­­­­­

Wonderful position of property, lovely views and a balcony in perfect position. No noise inside once doors are shut. Kitchen had everything needed although so close to bars and restaurants we did little cooking!

We had a lovely stay at St Marys View we come to Whitby quite a lot and this is the nicest place we have stayed brilliant location the owner Mrs Wilkinson so very helpful very nice to meet us on arrival and show us around second day into our holiday we booked again for October. The apartment is fabulous. Wonderful location with great view. Balcony lovely and garden a real bonus and so pretty. The apartment is kitted to a very high standard and all equipment high spec. The owner is really helpful and friendly. The parking permit was a real bonus. This apartment is a real gem and I'd thoroughly recommend it.

Apartment very good and within walking distance of local shops and other amenities. A problem we had with the front door lock was fixed very speedily on the same day it was reported.

Such a beautiful apartment in a fantastic location of Whitby overlooking the Abbey and harbour with only a few steps to an amazing sandy beach.
