We found the house perfect for our needs, being a 3 generation family we loved the large garden for our young teenage grandsons to play in and for us all to sit outside. The layout was great, including the large, well equipped kitchen. The location was perfect for us, an easy walk into the town centre and also with lots to do in the wider area. The property is clean and spacious with a comfortable lounge to relax in at the end of the day. The front and back gardens were very well maintained - the back being large with an extensive patio area, furniture and an electric awning which was very useful.. The location is excellent from the point of view of being a short walk into Thirsk and as aRead more base to tour the Moors/Dales. The only thing that put us off was the very busy road outside - but the inside and back garden were quiet. Hide

Highly recommended. Comfortable and well equipped house! Some reviews mentioned road noise in the front bedroom but this really was not an issue even at busy times. Great location for exploring wider Yorkshire. So much to do for all ages!

Lovely large and very well equipped house, fantastic garden and most rooms face the garden with lovely large windows. The front double bedroom face the road which is very noisy at weekends and is a busy road. Lovely ensuite master bedroom and kitchen has everything you would ever need. A great base for your holiday.
