Newholm Cottages

Our Newholm cottages are set within this peaceful hamlet. Newholm stands on rising grounds just one mile from the sea and sandy beaches at Sandsend, and only two miles west of Whitby. Early records have shown that jet-workers were carving the semi-precious stone at Newholm in 1614. Newholm has local amenities including a pub and a tea room which sells crafts and furniture. There is a golf course nearby at the end of the winding lane leaving Sandsend.
