Hunmanby Cottages

Our Hunmanby cottages in North Yorkshire are set within this pleasant village. Hunmanby is a large village situated about three miles away from Filey. It is surrounded by stunning scenery and beautiful landscapes looking over the seaside resort of Filey. Its name originated with the Danes, appearing in the Doomsday Book Hundemanbi meaning farmstead of the hounds men. Hunmanby boasts its historic market place cross which signifies the villages importance in Yorkshire Trade. It has an historic pub called the Whitby Swan which has stood for many centuries.
