Glaisdale Cottages

Our cottages in Glaisdale are a short drive from Whitby and are great for walking with amazing scenic views. Glaisdale is a pretty village located between the villages of Lealholm and Egton Bridge and only eight miles from Whitby. It lies on the national hiking trail, the Esk Valley walk. In the Nineteenth Century, Glaisdale was an ironstone-mining village recognised by its terraces of slate roof houses. Set at the foot of the dale, in beautiful surroundings, it has great local amenities with a host of shops, pubs and cafes.
