Aislaby Cottages
Aislaby cottages offer the best of both worlds with a quiet and relaxing village but only 5 to 10 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Whitby. Add in country views and good walking and the village provides a perfect holiday location. It is also only 5 minutes from the village of Sleights with its specialist butcher and baker (Radford and Bothams respectively).
The local church of St Margaret is at one end of the village and the graveyard has the grave of Frank Meadow Sutcliffe, famous Victorian photographer. Featherbed Lane is at the other end of Aislaby and provides a gorgeous walk to Sleights. There is any amount of walking in the area and the bus from Whitby to Teesside passes through the village.
Our two self-catering holiday homes in the village are both very popular with customers and many of them return year after year. Park Cottage, WA059, is cosy and warm, has an enclosed garden and is pet-friendly and sleeps up to 5 people. April Cottage, WA281A, has recently been completely refurbished and offers 3 bedroom accommodation for up to 6 people. There is parking for 2 cars and a lovely enclosed garden at the back overlooking countryside.
Aislaby - just relax.
