1 Bransdale Cottage, Glaisdale
Property Details
This cottage is situated in a quiet location with open views over the dale and moors from all windows. It is beautiful walking country and ideal for a peaceful walking/touring holiday. It is about a mile and a half from the village of Glaisdale and 15 minutes by car from Whitby. Next door is another cottage sleeping four people, (see property ref. WA244) so if booked together there is potential to accommodate up to eight guests.
GROUND FLOOR:
Lounge/Kitchen/Diner: Fridge, electric cooker with grill and oven, microwave. TV, radio, wood-burning stove and dining table with chairs.
FIRST FLOOR:
Bedroom 1: Double bed, bedside table and dressing table. Wardrobe space on the landing.
Bedroom 2: Bunk beds and bedside table.
Bathroom: Bath, shower over the bath, toilet and washbasin.
Pets: Pets welcome.
Parking: Parking available near the cottage on a grassy verge.
Heating: Wood-burning stove in lounge and night-storage heaters.
Garden: Garden with lawn, garden furniture and BBQ shared with cottage next door.
Short breaks: Short breaks not accepted at peak times.
Notes: Please bring your own towels. A basket of logs is provided with additional wood available to purchase locally.
Glaisdale
Glaisdale is a pretty village located between the villages of Lealholm and Egton Bridge and only eight miles from Whitby. It lies on the national hiking trail the Esk Valley walk. In the 19th Century Glaisdale was an ironstone-mining village recognised by its terraces of slate roof houses. Set at the foot of the dale, in beautiful surroundings, it has great local amenities with a host of shops, pubs and cafes.
